Eco fashion in hair salons

“I hope to influence other people with ecofriendly concepts and ideas and make the world more beautiful. When I started this beauty salon, I decided to make it energy-saving and eco-friendly. To help customers choose healthy and ecofriendly haircare products is also part of my goal,” said Manson about his concept. For him, making money can also benefit other people and the earth if you choose to do the right thing. Due to advanced communication technologies, now it is easier for customers to get access to all kinds of information.

As everyone can imagine, the hairdresser is no more making all decisions and customers usually have a strong view about the services they receive. “For example, many customers pay more attention to the ingredients of a product and their source than before. When knowing that the brand they are using is ecofriendly, they usually feel a higher level of psychological satisfaction,” said Manson.

Ecofriendly – the magic word for haircare products

As a professional hairdresser, Manson shares his thoughts about eco fashion. “When desired results are achieved through haircare products from two common brands, customers now tend to prefer an ecofriendly one besides that.”

“What is the best way of boosting confidence in using eco haircare products?” we asked Manson.

“Professional hairdressers play an important role. Holding campaigns like eco hair fashion show is also a surefire way. Maybe O’right can do more hair shows like the RECOFFEE Party in the future!” Manson said with a warm smile.

Art in green salon, art in life

Manson goes on to share the experience of an eco tea party event held in April. With the tea party, Manson tries to convey a LOHAS lifestyle that emphasizes concern for health and nature. The guests include customers, neighbors as well as people from other haircare brands. “We hope to share ecofriendly ideas, art appreciation, even a kind of zen-like lifestyle with as many people as we can,” emphasized Manson.

“Will you hold more activities or events like this?” we asked.

Manson nodded immediately and said, “We have plenty of interesting ideas to carry out! Maybe we will hold a small second hand book fair in the salon, or create an art exhibition with broken salon tools like hair dryers or curling irons.”

A picture full of creativity and beauty comes to our mind when listening to Manson explaining these amazing, extraordinary ideas. Maybe soon in the future, we will see more ecofriendly art works in the salon and a new haircare industry that integrates art and beauty might be the future mainstream.
