In 2014, O’right reaped what it has been sowing all the way. In addition to several international awards, O’right’s research on goji roots has been published in a highly-respected journal – The first in the haircare industry.
Beauty in nature
O’right has always been interested in discovering the DNA of beauty in plants. The product lines of green tea, bamboo and peach blossom all contain the treasures we extracted from the land. O’right believes that the essence of plants is an important part of ecofriendly and healthy products.
Recently, we study the goji root to reveal its benefits to the skin. According to our study, this seldom explored plant part can prevent skin aging and clear free radicals. These beneficial properties make goji root a great ingredient in skincare and haircare products.
The study has been published in BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine, a British academic journal which is ranked as one of the three most-acclaimed skincare journals in the world.
This is the first time that O’right’s research is recognized by a professional medical journal. It is also a giant leap towards our goal – making cosmetics into agricultural products.
The first haircare company in Taiwan with 3 independent labs
Due to the rampant food scandals in recent years, consumers are becoming more and more skeptical about what they eat and what they apply on their skin. Unlike many small and medium enterprises relying only on supplier’s credits, government’s inspection or verifications from a third body (such as SGS), we think the best way is to improve our own research and testing facilities. As a result, we expand the existing facilities into three independent ones as a way to fulfill our corporate social responsibility. The three labs are the Natural Formula Development Lab, Taiwan Farm Produce Extraction Lab and Natural Extract Assessment Lab.
To make sure that its products are natural, safe and nontoxic to the human body and the environment, O’right has been doing research with the Hung Kuang University to take a close inspection on ingredients and formulas. We dedicate ourselves to digging out natural organic materials for extraction as well as looking for new possibilities in local agricultural products for skin care application. The developing products are further put in various storage conditions to test their safety and stability. With all these high-standard inspections, we hope to provide consumers safe products and elicit other companies to perform self-inspection too.。
Upgrading the positioning of the agricultural industry
To make our products greener, we pay high attention to all details from manufacturing to consumer use. We are glad to share our research with the world. In addition to identifying the treasures of the soil, we also hope to promote industrial upgrade with this goji root study. Step by step, we believe that we will together head for a more beautiful future.
